            Time Keepers – Training

Unlike on-field officials, certification in time keeping is not required. Time keepers will be provided training by the MFRA that will include two areas of discussion, clock management and participation. In all cases management of the official game clock is the time keeper’s priority, next is to monitor and enforce the participation rules as set out by the MMFA.

Training consists of one 3 hour seminar, at the conclusion of which you will be familiar with the starting and stopping of the official game clock, and the rotation of the players within the participation box. You will be supplied a copy of the participation rules as well as a quick tip guide for clock management and participation.

Time keepers will also be trained in balancing and completing the official game sheets as well as post game reporting procedures and requirements.
