The MFRA will supply all on-field officials with a long sleeved numbered jersey, hat, whistle and lanyard, clip, penalty flag, game cards and pencils, at no charge. The jersey, lanyard, clip, and flag must be returned at the end of the season prior to receiving final pay.

The uniform requirements for on-field officials are specific and must be strictly adhered to as follows:

> Black athletic pants (NO TEAM LOGOS), with front and/or back pockets, are required and must be worn at all times
> Head officials may wear white regulation officials pants, but are not required
> Black runners or MMFA approved cleats are to be worn at all times
> Jerseys must be tucked in at all times
> Regulation hats must be worn at all times
> Penalty flags must be placed in a pant pocket, NOT in your waistband

The only exceptions to the uniform requirements pertain to extreme weather conditions as follows:

> Short sleeved numbered jerseys may be worn when warm weather warrants and can be purchased for ownership through the MFRA
> Black athletic or dress shorts (NO TEAM LOGOS), with front and/or back pockets, may be worn when daytime temperatures are in excess of 18°C
> Black gloves and black or white (hooded or non) sweaters may be worn when cold weather warrants (sweaters are to be worn UNDER jerseys)
